Description
The R5466 is high voltage CMOS-based ultra high precision protection ICs for overcharge/discharge voltage and current of rechargeable two-cell Lithium-ion (Li+) / Lithium polymer with alarm signal output. The R5466 has an alarm signal output, a temperature detection, an over-charge voltage detection, an over-discharge voltage/ discharge overcurrent detection and a charge overcurrent detection. When the over-charge alarm is detected, after the internal fixed delay time, the output of AOUT becomes "H" from high impedance at normal state. Further, with an external thermistor, if the temperature is 45°C or more, the over-charge alarm detector threshold shifts from normal temperature alarm detector threshold to the high temperature alarm detector threshold.
