What Is the SamacSys ECAD Model Platform?
We offer our ECAD models through the SamacSys platform.
Schematic symbols, PCB footprints, and 3D mechanical models required for circuit design can be downloaded free of charge with a simple click-and-drop operation.
Key Features
- Excel Plug-In (ECAD Part Wizard): Easily create your own parts with custom settings, such as fracturing a schematic symbol with a large pin count.
- Library Loader: Improves design efficiency by automatically linking to major ECAD tools after downloading.
- Footprint Previewer: Enables measurement and turning layers on and off on a browser.
- Custom Request for Free: Allows requests for parts not included in the library and adds them in the shortest possible time.
- Supported Major ECAD Tools: Many design environments, including Altium, Cadence, Mentor Graphics, and DesignSpark PCB.

Operating Procedures

Download and Install Library Loader (first time only)
Download and unzip the SamacSys "Library Loader," then install the application.

SamacSys Account Registration or Log-in
The first time you launch Library Loader, a log-in dialog box will appear. Enter your email address and other required information to register a new account or sign in to an existing one.

Download the Required ECAD Models
On the product or product listing page of our website, click the icon for the ECAD model you need. A modal window will open, allowing you to download the file.

Download ECAD Models
When you click the download button in the modal window, you may be prompted to log in. After logging in, download the selected ECAD model.

Importing ECAD Models into ECAD Tools
The download process launches the Library Loader, which imports the selected ECAD models directly into an ECAD tool.
