We, the Nisshinbo Micro Devices Group, recognize that protecting the global environment is a vital common challenge for humanity and a corporate social responsibility. With this awareness, we will take proactive actions and give full consideration to environmental conservation in all our business activities.
Basic Environmental Conservation Policy
- (a)We contribute to reducing environmental impact through the development of innovative.
- (b)We comply with legal obligations as well as voluntary standards established as necessary.
- (c)All employees engage in continuous improvement of the global environment through their work.
- (d)In our manufacturing processes, we work to prevent environmental pollution and improve the global environment through the following activities, contributing to the realization of a sustainable society:
- Energy and resource conservation
- Waste reduction and promotion of recycling
- Reduction or substitution of greenhouse gases and pollutants
- (e)We set environmental objectives and strive for continuous improvement of environmental performance.
- (f)We consider the local environment and engage in nature conservation and ecosystem preservation.
- (g)We conduct environmental education with full participation to raise awareness of environmental conservation.
- (h)To enhance the effectiveness of our environmental management system (EMS), we take life cycle considerations into account in all the above activities.
