Nurturing People and Connecting the Power to Work for the Future Social

The Nisshinbo Micro Devices Group is committed to respecting human rights and ensuring a safe and secure working environment for all employees. We support diverse work styles and actively promote talent development to enhance individual capabilities, while fostering a corporate culture where people and organizations grow together.

Respect for Human Rights

Promoting Understanding of Human Rights through Proprietary Training Programs

At Nisshinbo Micro Devices Inc., in addition to the Nisshinbo Group’s company-wide initiatives to promote respect for human rights, we actively implement proprietary training programs and measures to enhance each employee’s awareness of human rights. Specifically, alongside the human rights training conducted by the Nisshinbo Group, we provide education on human rights due diligence for new employees and conduct harassment prevention training for employees newly appointed to managerial positions. Furthermore, we have introduced training programs utilizing a learning management system to help all employees deepen their understanding of the relationship between business and human rights.

As part of our awareness-raising activities, we created and published videos summarizing the results of human rights slogan selections and related commendations on our internal intranet to foster greater interest among employees. We also implemented initiatives to reaffirm our Human Rights Policy, thereby clarifying the company’s stance.
Moving forward, we will continue to promote ongoing education and awareness activities aimed at deepening and embedding understanding of human rights across the organization.

Human Resource Management and Development

The Nisshinbo Micro Devices Group implements talent management initiatives to create an environment where employees can fully demonstrate their capabilities.

Support for Autonomous Career Development

At Nisshinbo Micro Devices Inc., we provide career training tailored to different age groups to help each employee reassess their career path and enhance job satisfaction. Employees in their 30s and 50s participate in career training programs organized by Nisshinbo Holdings Inc., while employees in their 20s receive career development support through new employee training and third-year training programs.
To facilitate the early development of new employees, we have introduced the pair leader system. Under this system, a senior employee serves as a pair leader for one year, providing one-on-one guidance through on-the-job training (OJT). New employees set goals, consult with their pair leaders, carry out tasks, and reflect on their progress, enabling them to experience tangible growth.
Furthermore, we offer a self-development assistance program that reimburses 50% of self-funded expenses, up to an annual maximum of 200,000 yen. In 2023, we raised the upper limit of support to actively encourage employees pursuing reskilling through activities such as obtaining certifications, attending graduate school, and participating in various training programs.

Initiatives to Strengthen Management Capabilities

At Nisshinbo Micro Devices Inc., we conduct a practical, small-group management training program over approximately four months to strengthen the managerial and organizational capabilities of managers responsible for leading teams. This program is delivered in a consulting-style format, with instructors working closely with participants, and focuses on the following two key areas:

  • Enhancing team motivation through the formulation of a vision
  • Driving transformation and growth of managers themselves through practical approaches to management challenges

Through these initiatives, participants are encouraged to reassess their own management styles and develop the ability to maximize the potential of their teams.

Basic Policy of the Nisshinbo Micro Devices Group
on Childcare and Nursing Care

Under the corporate philosophy of “Change and Challenge! For the creation of the future of Earth and People,” the Nisshinbo Micro Devices Group is committed to contributing to the realization of a sustainable society while sincerely supporting the lives of each individual employee.
We believe that the physical and mental well-being of our employees is the driving force behind challenge and innovation. Guided by the Nisshinbo Micro Devices Group’s “Healthy Company Declaration,” we strive to build a corporate culture that supports the health and vitality of both employees and workplaces.
As part of this effort, we recognize that actively supporting life events such as childcare and nursing care—which employees and their families are faced with—is an essential responsibility for balancing employee happiness with the company’s sustainable growth.
In today’s society, where the declining birthrate and aging population are accelerating, childcare and nursing care are not issues limited to a few individuals.
Our Group is committed to achieving “Zero Resignations Due to Childcare or Nursing Care” and will continue to develop a workplace environment where all employees can work with peace of mind, without anxiety about changes in their life stage.
