Ricoh launches ultra-low 0.2 µA current consumption voltage regulator for IoT/wearable devices

Ricoh Electronic Devices Co., Ltd. has launched the RP118, an ultra-low 0.2 µA current consumption voltage regulator designed for IoT/wearable devices.
As IoT market expands, the compactness and the long-time driving battery are desired for wire-less sensor terminals and wearable devices.
The RP118 features ultra-low 0.2 µA current consumption at no load and 0.002 µA standby current contributing to the long-time driving battery.
A compact 1.0 x 1.0 mm DFN(PLP)1010-4 package and a 0.64 x 0.64 mm WLCSP-4-P8 package (will be released soon) achieve high density mounting.
The output current is 100 mA, and the output voltage ranges from 1.2 V to 3.6 V, to be set in 0.1 V step.
The automatically switchable operating modes, fast response mode and low power mode, enable fast response characteristics while the consumption current is low.
