NJW4201 Series
Oscillator with Spread Spectrum Frequency Modulation for Switching Regulator

Download Datasheet

  • Description

NJW4201 is a high precision oscillator IC with spread spectrum frequency modulation (SSFM) made for switching regulator. The output of a clock with spread spectrum frequency modulation reduces the peak level of electromagnetic radiation. The NJW4201 SSFM function changes ±5% max of center frequency, and is modulated with a linear signal. The modulation rate can be selected from A1 version: fOSC/512, fOSC/128, A2 version: fOSC/2048, fOSC/512. The NJW4201 oscillator operates at an oscillation frequency from 280kHz to 2.4MHz, and outputs an anti-phase clock through two output pins. Therefore, it is suitable for the external synchronization signal application of the switching regulator.
