NJR Begins Mass Production of System Reset ICs NJU2103A/NJU2103B and System Reset IC NJU2102A with Built-in Watch Dog Timer

Nisshinbo Micro Device (NJR) developed new System Reset ICs NJU2103A, NJU2103B and another System Reset IC NJU2102A with built-in Watch Dog Timer. They have moved into mass production.

General Description

NJR developed 2 types of System Reset ICs for various power supply voltage monitoring circuits of electrical equipment by new application of micro process and original circuit technology, instead of NJM2103, NJM2012, and they have moved into mass production. One type is System Reset ICs NJU2103A, NJU2103B that can monitor power supply voltage and any voltage as power supply voltage monitoring circuit. Another type is System Reset IC NJU2102A that has built-in Watch Dog Timer and can provide various microcomputer systems with fail-safe function.

The characteristics of the NJU2103A, NJU2103B and NJU2102A are improved. Example, the voltage detection accuracy reaches 1%, the power consumptions are reduced by half compared with the previous products. By improving the voltage detection accuracy of the reset IC, it is possible to set the voltage near the detection voltage and realize the detection voltage high precision for electrical equipment. Long battery life can be achieved with low power and the above feature.

Features

NJU2103A

  • It is possible to replace NJM2103 directly (DMP8, DIP8 package)
  • It can detect 4.2V±1.0% power supply voltage, and any voltage(VSBdetection voltage is 1.22V±1.0%)
  • Low consumption current is 280㎂ typ.

NJU2103B

  • Because the VSBdetection voltage and the VSCdetection voltage are matched with MB3771, it is suitable to replace MB3771.
  • It can detect 4.2V±1.0% power supply voltage, and any voltage(VSBdetection voltage is 1.23V±1.0%)
  • Low consumption current is 280㎂ typ.

NJU2102A

  • It is possible to replace NJM2102 directly.
  • Because the detection voltage and various set times are matched with MB3773, it is suitable to replace MB3773.
  • It can detect 4.2V±1.0% power supply voltage
  • Built-in Watch Dog Timer


  •  It is determined that it can be replaced based on compatibility of key characteristics and function.
     Some of the specs have characteristics differences, so please evaluate them sufficiently with actual machine before use.
