Quality grade of former company products (Part number starting with R)

We prepare the quality grades below to provide customers with the suitable ICs for respective applications.
While the consumer grade is appropriate for most of the consumer products like smartphones, TVs, PCs, etc., some applications require higher levels of quality.
Industrial robots or cooperative robots in the production line of factories, for instance, are often required to meet the high standards of durability against 24-hour operation or wide operating temperature. In those cases, our industrial grade ICs, having passed harsh reliability tests, are highly recommended.
Also, the automotive grade ICs achieve the high quality levels which are required by automotive equipment. The automotive grade is further classified into three quality ranks optimized for the usage, so customers can choose the most suitable products for their applications.

Because the quality and cost is in a trade-off relation, customers should not use products whose quality is much higher than required without any purpose. By establishing various quality standards, we can provide the appropriate products for customers' applications.

To improve quality level to match quality rank, inspections are strengthened at various process.

Quality class R / K / J / H products have different Ta, but a product belongs to only in one of them.

The operating temperature range depends on the product. Refer to the datasheet for details.

Quality class R products undergo reflow stress screening.

Sales Traceability: Capable of tracking the destination of products, etc. by managing the warehousing and shipping data

Manufacturing Traceability: Capable of tracking the source materials and manufacturing devices of products by managing the data on the production history
