AEC-Q100
The AEC is the abbreviation of Automotive Electronics Council.
- AEC-Q100 : Integrated Circuit (IC)
- AEC-Q101 : Discrete semiconductor (Transistor, Diode, etc.)
- AEC-Q200 : Passive Components (Resistor, Capacitor, etc.)
Grade
There are Grade 0 to Grade 3 in AEC-Q100 standard, and it depends on the items operating temperature.
- Grade 0 : -40°C to +150°C
- Grade 1 : -40°C to +125°C
- Grade 2 : -40°C to +105°C
- Grade 3 : -40°C to +85°C
Qualification Test Plan (QTP) Sheets
Qualification Test Plan (QTP) sheets are documents that describe the evaluation and test plans, as well as the results, based on the requirements of AEC-Q100.
These sheets include information such as the applicable products, quality grades, test items, test conditions, sample quantities, acceptance criteria, and the rationale for whether tests were conducted, with the aim of systematically demonstrating compliance with AEC-Q100 requirements.
Using these sheets, we ensure the completeness and validity of test items, and by submitting the test plans and results for each test group to our customers and obtaining their approval, the products are treated as AEC-Q100-compliant products agreed upon by both parties.
