Examples of Activities by Nisshinbo Micro Devices Inc.
Traffic Safety Experience Event Held
At the Kawagoe Plant of Nisshinbo Micro Devices Inc., we hosted a traffic safety awareness event for employees by inviting the Saitama Trucking Association’s mobile traffic safety experience vehicle, “Sight-kun.”
A total of 56 employees participated during their lunch break. In addition to hands-on experiences with a driving simulator, field‑of‑vision testing, and equipment measuring memory and reflexes, participants also had the opportunity to experience a vehicle rollover using a device designed to demonstrate the importance of seat belts. This provided an extremely valuable learning experience for everyone involved.
Each activity was designed to be enjoyable, almost like a game, enabling participants to visualize their driving habits and daily behavior. Many discovered differences between their actual performance and their perceived abilities, making the event highly meaningful in raising safety awareness.
