High Capacitance Piezo-sounder Driver with charge pump

  • Description

    NJW1280 is a driver for large-capacity piezo-sounder. With the built-in charge pump circuit and differential output, it is enabling to output 30Vpp with 5V single power supply, and can be configure a large-capacity 30nF piezo-sounder with four external capacitors. The operating voltage of NJW1280 is 2.0V to 5.5V, and it can be used with coin type batteries or Li-ion batteries. When not operating (no signal), the built-in input signal detection circuit automatically switches to the shutdown mode (0.5 µA max. at VDD=3V) to reduce battery consumption and realize a long service life of the set. The NJW1280 is available in a leaded MSOP10 package and a 2.3mm x 2.3mm size 0.397mm thick leadless DFN8-G2 package, which can be used for ultra-small wearable devices.
