Inhibit function⁽¹⁾ can enable or disable the watchdog timer function.
By disabling the watchdog timer function, avoiding unnecessary error detection in a period when clock signal monitoring is not necessary, such as before CPU start-up, during sleep period, or during debugging the program.
If inhibit function⁽¹⁾ is enabled, the output of the watchdog timer is released condition. The output turns to release state during the watchdog timer-disabled period.
Even if the watchdog timer detects reset condition, if the inhibit function is enabled, the watchdog timer output is released without delay.
