Is the BLE communication period of the RIOT-001 changeable?

The BLE communication interval of the RIOT-001 is fixed at 5 seconds and is unchangeable except using the firmware of the MCU.

The RIOT-002, on the other hand, can change its interval via the dedicated setting application.
