Does the comparator output normally even when an input voltage is outside from the common-mode input voltage range?
Comparator
As long as the voltage of one input terminal is within the common-mode input voltage range, the comparator can output normally even if the voltage of another input terminal is outside the common-mode input voltage range.
If the voltages of both input terminals are outside the common-mode input voltage range, the output is not normal.
