A voltage tracker is an IC which the power supply tracks, and is used to supply the power to off-board sensors or other parts with high accuracy. Besides, by its various protection functions, even if the path to the off -board sensors are shortened to the GND, the main board is not affected.

Generally, voltage trackers are used as a power source for off-board sensors of automotive or industrial equipment.
Also, they can be used as a solution to disperse heat generated by LDO regulators or to boost current.
