Tell me about hysteresis of a voltage detector. How does a voltage detector output within the hysteresis?

In general, voltage detectors have voltage difference between the falling voltage (detector threshold) and the start-up voltage (release voltage). This voltage difference is called hysteresis (width). Without hysteresis, detection signals may chatter at the voltage around the detector threshold.

The output will never turn from 'H' to 'L' unless the monitoring voltage becomes lower than the detector threshold. Also, the output will never turn from 'L' to 'H' unless the monitoring voltage exceeds the release voltage. Refer to the figure below for details. (*'H' Output products at detection operate oppositely.)
