The reverse current blocking function (RCB) of R5527K001 series works when VOUT is higher than VIN by typ.45mV (see table below*1) or more. This voltage difference is caused by reverse current flow to the output transistor. Since the ON resistance (RON) (see table below*2) of the output transistor is about 45mΩ, the reverse current blocking function does not work until the reverse current flows at least 1A (typ. 45mV voltage difference).The response time of the reverse current protection function is about 10us (reference value) after VOUT > VIN + 45mV.
